Unisex? Really?

I don't know, cousin Breanna, this hat looks pretty girlie to me.

Weekend in L.A.

That's Lower Alabama. The weather was too yucky to do much, but we enjoyed hanging out with Andrea and Michael and their gang o' girls. We had a romantic Valentine's Day dinner at Lulu's with our FOUR children and Michael's parents, Mike and Prissy. The restaurant had a big vow renewal ceremony complete with a Champagne toast, a live band, and a wedding certificate signed by owner Lucy Buffett. So much fun!

The "intimate" ceremony

The happy newlyweds (and baby)

Elliott's two favorite things: eating and listening to music. He loved his mom and dad's wedding!

I get around

Elliott's steering ability has greatly improved. Just watch him take that corner.

Operation Elliott

Due to all of Elliott's ear infections he had to have tubes this morning. He was in a pretty good mood considering he didn't have breakfast, his parents woke him up at 5am, and then drove an hour to Children's Hospital South. The hospital let Elliott test drive this little car before his procedure. They also added a nice touch by having his name on the door to his room. I think he looks like a natural behind the wheel in the first picture, and in the second picture he may be trying to order something at a drive-through window. His procedure went great and he's now back home resting. - eric

What do you think happens next?

Yes, boys and girls, Elliott has learned to climb aboard the table. (The videographer was too freaked out to keep filming, considering that is a glass table.)

Just admit it...

If you had Christmas pajamas this cute, you'd still be wearing them in February too! (Obviously they are super comfy because he keeps climbing into his toy basket.)

OK, don't be mad.

We had every intention of posting these photos when they were taken back in....November. But the holidays and the bum ears and all the rest of our crazy dramas just shot our resolve. But better late than never, right?

Most of you know that Elliott is currently experiencing his 5th (yep, 5th) ear infection in only 3 and a half months. Today he visited the ENT, and the doc feels pretty confident that tubes will really help in his situation. So he will be getting all fixed up next Thursday. Maybe now he'll have bionic hearing like the Million Dollar Man. (With all the doctor visit co-pays, I think he'll soon cost as much as the Million Dollar Man. Yikes!) --Marilyn

Masterpiece

Elliott brought home this piece of art a few days ago. I'm not quite sure what it is, but this month's theme is winter. Make your own interpretation. I think my little Picasso's work is at least as good as some of the stuff I've paid good money to see at modern art museums! We're displaying it for free...you're welcome. --Marilyn

Corn-Fed

Elliott has eaten creamed corn before but never corn on the cob. His granna has been begging us to let him try it out.  I think he likes it...
