Baby's first shiner

There was an incident in the activity room at school on Monday. Nobody seems to know exactly what happened, but Elliott emerged with a black eye. Today he came home with a report that "a friend" bit him. I'm starting to think he hangs with a bad crowd.

Belated Fourth of July pictures

We have been swamped lately, but we promise to be better bloggers. After all, how can you guys keep up with Elliott's escapades if we don't update you regularly?! Elliott's Granna and Pop had about 30 people over for a bbq and pool party to celebrate this year. We had a blast, and Elliott swam like a fish (when he wasn't jumping off the diving board, that is).

Dance like nobody's watching

Check out this gem from Myrtle Beach. Elliott was trying so hard to impress that little girl. Bustin' out moves we've never seen before!

Holy Crap!

Elliott just pooped in the potty. We cheered, we laughed, we cried. It's a proud day. Sorry about the artwork...Daddy felt that we needed a graphic element, but I sure wasn't taking a picture. :)

The Snozberries Taste Like Snozberries

We joined some friends this weekend at the Black and Blue Berry Festival in Jemison. There was a small petting zoo, pony rides, and most of all berry eating and sometimes picking.

Some of Elliott's berries did not end up in his belly.

These goats were getting fed by every kid there.

Blueberry Fields Forever

I think Elliott got his money's worth at the Blueberry Festival in Jemison this weekend.

The most exhausted boy on the planet

I snapped this with my phone on our last night at the beach. Elliott was so pooped that he fell asleep on the beach and then slept through his entire bath.

Elliott's latest escapade

We just returned from a week in Myrtle Beach with extended family. It was a last-minute destination choice, but we still enjoyed ourselves. There was no shortage of sand, sun, and water fun!

Our condo at sunrise (it's the tallest one)

It had a great splash pad, a lazy river, and a couple of pools.

Elliott woke up every day shouting, "The beach!"

Getting a face-full of the Atlantic

You'd have scary hair and pained expressions, too, if 30 mph winds were sandblasting your legs! :)

Elliott loved being on vacation with grandparents and uncles. He could have snacks on demand. And he demanded often.

Mommy's favorite spot: under the umbrella with her book

Nothing like a bubble bath at the end of a long day on the beach.
