Elliott's latest escapade

We just returned from a week in Myrtle Beach with extended family. It was a last-minute destination choice, but we still enjoyed ourselves. There was no shortage of sand, sun, and water fun!

Our condo at sunrise (it's the tallest one)

It had a great splash pad, a lazy river, and a couple of pools.

Elliott woke up every day shouting, "The beach!"

Getting a face-full of the Atlantic

You'd have scary hair and pained expressions, too, if 30 mph winds were sandblasting your legs! :)

Elliott loved being on vacation with grandparents and uncles. He could have snacks on demand. And he demanded often.

Daddy and Granna cheesing it up

Mommy's favorite spot: under the umbrella with her book

Nothing like a bubble bath at the end of a long day on the beach.

I'm glad you found an oil-free beach to go to. :(
So what was mommy reading?

Mommy read a new Nora Roberts book and Sima's Undergarments for Women. Both were great beach books!

Looks like an awesome time! I love Eric's hair in the sandblasting picture.
