Elliott slept through the night! We woke up about 6 a.m., completely disoriented by the sunlight coming in the window, and realized that he had been asleep since 11 p.m. But the really weird thing is that he somehow managed to rotate himself 90 degrees in his bed. Not bad for a kid who was wrapped up tight like a burrito. I'd love to see the time-lapse photography of that.
In not-so-great news, I spent my first Mother's Day in quarantine with a terrible cold (or respiratory infection of some sort). We decided that until my fever broke I should probably not have much contact with Elliott. So I stayed holed up in the bedroom most of the day, and my arms felt very empty. Fever's gone today so my quarantine order has been modified so that I have held him for a few minutes. The silver lining is that I had plenty of time yesterday to read The Girl Who Stopped Swimming. Super!

that is so awesome he slept through the night. I bet you guys felt like new people this morning!! The rotating thing only gets more interesting! They start rolling and flipping and flopping and you find them in some interesting positions! We even have one that goes to bed with clothes and wakes up without them a lot!!-Andrea
o yeah, and glad the fever is gone, I know that was tough, but in a way so very nice to spend mother's day in the quiet!-I'm a little on the jealous side, but glad to know you're a little better!-Andrea
Luke has an ear infection, so my Mother's Day was less than stellar too. Luckily, we have many happier Mother's Days to come.
Nice work on the sleeping, Elliott! Keep it up.
Did you like The Girl Who Stopped Swimming? I thought it was pretty good.
That's a great way to look at it, Katie! Hope Luke's feeling better. I loved the book too. (BTW, Elliott slept all night again last night.) -Marilyn
Well, even though you couldn't hold him, Elliott still gave you the gift of sleep! Hope you feel better
