Elliott is Here!

After an exhausting 3 solid hours of pushing Marilyn had to have a C-Section. Elliott was born at 3:41 AM on 3/4/08 weighing in at a whopping 8 lbs 10 oz and 21.5 inches long. His feet are exactly three inches long. Marilyn and Elliott are doing wonderful just very very tired.

It's Show Time!

We had a doctors appointment today at 2:00 pm. The doctor said that there wasn't enough amniotic fluid and felt we needed to induce. So at about 3 pm we checked in and started pitocin around 4:30 pm. Then at 6:45 pm Marilyn's water broke so now it's on! I'll continue to update when ever I can.

Baby's Room is Ready!

So where's the baby?! He seems entirely too happy in his present accommodations to check out his room anytime soon. (This whole post is really a ploy to attempt our first video! Enjoy.)

Baby Shower 1-19-08

Our first baby shower was a lot of fun. Despite "The Blizzard of 2008", much of our family and friends braved the cold and joined us to celebrate Elliott's upcoming arrival. Here are a few pictures from the shower.

4D Ultrasound of Baby Elliott

Here are a few pictures from our 4D ultrasound. He's come a long way since our first ultrasound. Check out his little foot in the first picture. Looks like we may have a little kicker!

Baby's Room gets Painted

We painted the baby's room a soft blue-gray. Here's Marilyn 26 weeks pregnant. Less than 100 days to go!

We finally bought our first piece of baby furniture! We used baby Floyd as a stand-in while we tested it out.
