Elliott loves to take a bath even though we allow him no dignity. Every time we take his picture he looks like he's thinking, "My parents are so annoying."

What's up, doc?

Elliott went to see Dr. Habeeb for his 2-month visit today. Once again, his performance was stellar. He weighed 13 lbs, 1 oz. and measured 23 1/4" long. The downside: 5 vaccinations which are now making him a little bit miserable. But he's still a trooper.

Happy Earth Day

Tuesday is Earth Day. Elliott is very environmentally aware and wanted to remind everyone to be kind to the land. Note how he's so helpfully pointing out the planet in the first shot.


Oh, and then at Zoe's we parked next to John McCain's "Straight Talk Express" while he visited all the destitute people who live in Soho in downtown Homewood. Kidding! He was at a fundraiser. I was hoping we'd see him because I'd love a pic of him kissing Elliott for the scrapbook. (But I still wouldn't vote for him!) HA HA

We [heart] Cindy!

Our good friend Cindy has been given a great opportunity in San Antonio! We're so excited for her but sad to see her go. So we had a big Copy Desk sendoff...all three of the fellas got together for the occasion. (Elliott's a big guy, but he looked so tiny next to Luke and Jack!)

By the way, Cindy, this makes TWO entries featuring you. Not many people get that kind of face time on Elliott's blog. :)

Busy weekend

We went out on our first post-baby "date" to see Spamalot on Saturday. Elliott somehow managed to survive for a couple of hours without us. It must have been his FOUR babysitters! (Thanks, Granna, Uncle Brett, Nanny, and Pawpaw.)

Then on Sunday we attended cousin Cody's 11th birthday party. As you can see in the above photo, Elliott was a wild man. --Marilyn

Yep, that's my shirt. Yep, I was wearing it at the time of the incident. He had JUST PEED so I thought I was safe. (I swear he was smirking a little.) Then he enjoyed some downtime in his crib while I changed. Excitement and adventure! --Marilyn
